Frequently asked questions.

What do I wear?
Whatever is loose and comfortable for a lively night of dancing

Do I need a partner?
No, as there are plenty of people to dance with. You will probably be met by John and Eve or Brian and Phyllis who will guide you through the first time of signing in and ordering your tea or coffee and generally "keep an eye " on you throughout the evening.

I don't know anything!
There are lots of experienced dancers to help and the caller explains all of the moves and keeps calling all the way through the actual dance.

Do I have to join?
Not at first but it is a members club. You can pay £2.50 a night for the first three weeks and then find Chris Franks , the Membership Secretary to pay an annual fee of £3.00 followed by only £2.00 per night. This includes tea or coffee and biscuits on club nights, and a subsidised Christmas meal.

Can I have a go at calling a dance?
Yes. See John Evans, who prepares the programme and try your hand on a Club Callers night
Is it easy to find and is there plenty of parking?
Yes, it is easy to find. Just follow the instructions on the location page and there is plenty of parking space.
